I have been working at Victoria's Secret Stores full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great teams, fun work environment, thorough training + orientation, opportunities to learn, good pay (depending on where you live + your experience), gratis + discount.

    Cons

Long hours on feet, inconsistent schedule, tough customers, some competition with girls who rely on making bonus.

    Advice to Management

Introduce wider range of sizes to suit more clients--it's discouraging to customers and employees when we can't find something that works for their body. The bonus system can encourage competition and focuses on individual sales, not life-long customers.

I worked at Victoria's Secret Stores full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

I loved working at VS, my co workers, customers, and all training was amazing. We received fantastic deals, and product to use for personal testimonies. The company is smart and ever growing, it's a great company to work for.

    Cons

The hours are retail hours, working nights and weekends aren't for me. They certainly compensate you for your time so finding something better has always been difficult, but work life balance was most important to me.

    Advice to Management

Get to know your employee's! The most successful managers knew their employee's well and cared about them.

I have been working at Victoria's Secret Stores part-time

    Pros

Always meeting new people and learning new things about the products so you're never left in the dark about each product's benefits when trying to get customers to purchase. Discounts at sister stores were great.

    Cons

Training would be after hours and mandatory. Sales goals were a MUST to be met.

    Advice to Management

    No advice.
