I worked at Victoria's Secret Stores part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

My experience working at Victoria's Secret was overwhelmingly positive. I loved that I could focus on merchandising while also being trained to sell and cashier. The environment was always brimming with positivity. The management was well-developed, uplifting and inspiring. The general staff was quick to accept me and I made many close friends working here! I always felt a boost in confidence coming to work. One of the best experiences of my life was working at Victoria's Secret.

    Cons

The hours are a little rough! 6 am processing shifts and overnight floor sets that last until 3 a.m. Whew. Rough stuff, but worth it!

    Advice to Management

Keep up your positivity & encouraging words! This company is a blessing ✨

I worked at Victoria's Secret Stores part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

You receive 50% off on employee discount and employees were always the first to test out new products. You're able to use discounts at other locations as well

    Cons

The managers were young and can be rude at times. This location specifically was always under surveillance due to younger crowds stealing.

    Advice to Management

Connect with your associates more around their goals and recognize them for personal achievements.

I have been working at Victoria's Secret Stores full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Fantastic benefits, PTO, opportunities to grow if you really put the work in.

    Cons

Pointless incentive program, unrealistic sales goals, quick to let you go if you don't meet said goals.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your associates. Sometimes we need support and you don't take us seriously, especially when it comes to sales and compensation. Understand that this is how some of us make a living; letting people go without warning without write-ups or any previous issues can be devastating.

I worked at Victoria's Secret Stores part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The company is very passionate about what they are making and gives their employees the necessary information to succeed. You are given gratises when new products come or to try them so you are able to give your personal testimony while selling them to customers.

    Cons

For the amount of work being done, the hourly wage should be much larger. Floorsets never have enough people to get them done in the proper amount of time. Some other stores do the floorsets at night and I knew people their saying they would be at floorsets for 9 to 10+ hours.

    Advice to Management

At the location I worked at, the management was good. Sometimes, the managers would sit in the office in the back room sometimes and just talked (I worked in the back room).
