I have been working at Victoria's Secret Stores part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Friendly co-workers, Free and discounted items for employees, pay is better than most retail jobs, product is at least somewhat exciting.

    Cons

Managers constantly schedule you during a time you requested off (even if you made a request months in advance). They will give you tons of hours during holiday, but during regular hours, they claim "they're over in hours"... constantly. Which may be true because they're budgeted like they can't afford to pay someone to stand in the store to help customers. It's possible to be scheduled 1 or 2 days.. possibly no days a week. Customers can be rude, but that's retail.

    Advice to Management

Show appreciation and give hours to the employees you have, instead of hiring new employees constantly. ACTUALLY PAY ATTENTION TO TIME OFF REQUESTS! Stop pretending like you can't afford to staff the store.

I worked at Victoria's Secret Stores part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Decent discount, nice and friendly people to work with

    Cons

Operation culture changes a lot, as well as the managers. Inconsistent managers, they would give you different directions. Some of them speak to you unprofessionally and they like to give orders and ask you to fix things for them. Opportunity of advancement are low. Some people work a lot others no at all. Can not combine employee discount with other discounts, everybody has to sell but also do their job as expected but just sales people makes commissions. Can be very stressful, no way to ensure your sell goes to you, low salary for all the work you do.

    Advice to Management

Educate the floor managers on how to be a leader and speak to the staff
