I worked at Victoria's Secret Stores part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    -Great pay
    -Amazing perks
-Not overly strict with dress code

    Cons

    -Not so flexible with hours
    -Managers aren't that great

    Advice to Management

Please listen to your employees more! I enjoyed my first four months then a brand new manager came in and ruined that. I had quite a lot of anxiety attacks. Also, follow your schedule. If it says I'm scheduled until two in the afternoon, I won't mind staying until two-thirty but stay until three or four is absolutely wrong since I wasn't scheduled and that means I have to cancel other priorities I had scheduled for the day.

I worked at Victoria's Secret Stores part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The discount and great people to work with. Never had a problem with anyone there. Pay was decent. Never had a problem.

    Cons

Slow moving up, only get a chance once in awhile! When you do move up it could be temporary, sometimes you have to wait ten years.

    Advice to Management

    Depends on the manager

I have been working at Victoria's Secret Stores full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Dynamic store, a TON of newness/promos/initiatives at any moment; fast-paced environment. Incredibly challenging and competitive. Complex to say the least.

    Cons

Overworking/flexibility are required and recognition tends to be political. Easier to move up the ladder if you are at stores that are more "visible."

    Advice to Management

Make sure you are likable as well as determined and talented if you enter this company

    Cons

    Advice to Management

First of all, I loved working for the company until our AMAZING Store Manager left. Then the store went down hill from there. I was the Staffing and Ops Supervisor, but once our new SM took over, she ended up doing my job in the back and I took over her job on the floor. I went from part-time to full-time, without a pay increase, not to mention no one offered me benefits. The whole store changed drastically. Plus, the management had no respect for their associates, calling them vulgar names, while the office door was open. Also, the ASM was constantly getting me to be her scape goat by literally tattle taleing on the new SM, to the District Manager. I decided to leave because I dreaded going to work every day.
