I worked at Victoria's Secret Stores (More than a year)

    Pros

Great team the associates are so kind and very hard workers. Decent discount, good incentives when sales goals are reached and a nice gratis program.

    Cons

Lack of flexibility for a part time job. High expectations when it comes to availability (example: mandatory working over night for floor sets etc)

    Advice to Management

Taking care of employees with the same passion as attaining sales goals would greatly help improve the atmosphere at the store.

    Pros

It was an okay experience. Managers were nice most of the time. Most of the people were easy to get along with. I felt it was easier to make connections with coustomers here than at my past retail jobs.

    Cons

Some of he people were just terrible to work with. The discount could have been better. And they don't really give hours after New Years.

    Advice to Management

Have the people that are training be a little more patient with new hires. And when employees are being picked onc take it seriously

I worked at Victoria's Secret Stores part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Gratis! Free bras, fragrances, 30% discount on everything, early access to sales items. Fun company to represent.

    Cons

High stress environment. Commission is managed poorly, and there are not enough opportunities for advancement. Employees are often pitted against each other for the sake of sales.

    Advice to Management

In a job that's already stressful by nature, there is no need to make employees feel like they are never doing well enough.
