I worked at Victoria's Secret part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Lots of freebies, like free outfits and undergarments. Paid training time. Good employee discount.

    Cons

Not enough hours or employees to work on the mass volume of shipment or to maintain standards on the sales floor. No room for raises, barely increases by a tiny percentage no matter how good of an employee you are, unless you switch to a management position. Sometimes would work til ungodly hours during the holidays. I'm talking working 6 pm to 3 am without a break. The company is pretty abusive and they only care... about how much money and credit cards they sell that day.

    Advice to Management

Let your employees take a break or leave when it's time for them to go. They don't need to stay an extra hour or more. Corporate needs to bump the break from 30 minutes to 1 hour for 7 to 9 hour shifts.

I have been working at Victoria's Secret part-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Fast paced work environment, good work experience, flexible hours while in college, great employee discount and competitive pay.

    Cons

Sometimes a lack of work life balance during holiday season. A large makeup of LBrands cooperate jobs and interns are Ohio State and University of Ohio Alumni. Hiring many people in corporate positions from two universities in the same state can lead to why there is a business decline for the company. More diversity can lead to more innovation in the brands.
