I have been working at Vida Vacations full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Patrick is incredibly thourough, engaging, extremely knowledgable, and presents in a clear, understandable manner with a proper progression to grasp the concepts with least confusion.

    Cons

Resort is soooo big, its easy to get lost. Not the worst place to get lost amongst the jungle landscape and sprawling ponds though

    Advice to Management

I've never been a part of training where the class trainees are more or less not included (such as each being individually asked to read from scripts out loud, or daily activities such as the 1 time we were told to present a list of steps to the class) However, I've also never had a trainer as engaging as Patrick. But I'd believe the 60/40 rule should be lead through example. This particular training we skipped an essential part of the presentation, that being the personal story. A simple example would suffice, but I do recall spending an entire day and night creating, editing and getting multiple opinions for our personal stories in my prior training

I have been working at Vida Vacations full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

As former business owner and manager, I can say that the quality of the management with Vida Vacations is second to none. While no company is 100% perfect, I have been blessed to have worked with many excellent managers. Their dedication to their sales craft as well as the many hours they willingly spend in training and mentoring are a reason why Vida Vacations is an industry leader.
Another pro would be the constant growth and evolution of the organization. This company is always looking for ways to grow, to discover new market segments and new and better ways to meet both the needs of the customers but also the ever growing sales force.
Lastly, Vidanta and Vida Vacations have the best products in the industry.

    Cons

Compensation can be a little below average for the market but then again, they are very aggressive in working to ensure that you always have a prospect to talk to. More money is always welcome though.
