    Negative Outlook

I have been working at Vidant Health full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    Minimal pros to comment on

    Cons

Mandatory overtime, extremely weak management. Very poor nurse retention. The perception from administration seems to be, they own everything in the region so they can set the rules. You cannot keep expanding based simply off of those who live here. standard of care is very poor. New grads are coming in, taking the experience and hitting the road. If you want to truly set the bar. Raise the nurses much higher than they are.

    Advice to Management

Pull your heads out of your ..., this isn't rocket science. Take care of your employees, they will take care of the patients. It really is that simple.
