- "Have no idea what they’re doing in the US, make emotionally impulsive business decisions that keep spiraling this company downwards, the chairman is essentially a 16 year old white girl who throws a fit when things aren’t working his way, upper management creates unrealistic expectations that always seem to become increasingly more difficult (ie increase reservation numbers from 5/month to 20/month), cheap about absolutely everything important to business but they spend money on everything irrelevant, plus a lot more." Sluggish / or no system in place for anything: from sales operation to internal control, I dont know how many excel files we had, maybe hundreds. Also, if we use excel on daily basis, staffs should be competent at creating an excel file, in Vinfast case, I dont see that competency at management level Poor management: direct management had no say in anything, as a new brand in the market, we should have plans to drive the car out to create exposure, instead, the manager chose to follow the book and stay passive when it comes to free event s(local EV meetup, local professionals meetup, etc) Resume based hiring, not work attitude: many people got hired because they have impressive resume, not how they work in real life, most people are just here for the title and then they will move again, no loyalty or passion to grow this brand at all Rushing culture: the product is not yet ready for Canadian market, and staffs got pushed to deliver cars to customers. Management is only happy when they see the number of deliveries growing, but not looking at liabilities they might encounter going forward. If the cars are not ready, tell customers they are not ready, be real, dont lie please. A working culture created for fake result and unsustainable result: relating to my earlier point, management has pressure to create numbers to cover themselves, for example: the number of fake reservations to meet quota, later on will affect sales. Also, sad news is that sales people got told to produce fake reservations.
