Great Company to work for!
Mar 3, 2023 - Client Trainer II in Charlotte, NCRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Very generous PTO, employee paid benefits, great culture, large company with the opportunity to move up and enticing work hours.
Cons
Recent changes over the last year have led to additional work and training but without pay.
We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. We're thrilled to know that you feel fulfilled in your role and are loving your journey here. We want all employees to be fairly, and generously, compensated. If you have not already done so, we recommend setting up some time with your manager to discuss your concerns in this area. Thanks for your commitment to building a better future. Keep up the great work!

The actual job is good, but company culture is god awful
Mar 30, 2023 - CRM Consultant in Richardson, TXRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
The pay is really good.
Cons
Literally was told if you don't have at least 25 go to meetings over 10 min a week then you will not have a job here. There was no how can I help. My old boss clearly wanted me out. He said well, your a single Mom and this job seems like too much for you. Sexist as all get out. But what sucked more was when my Manager asked what he could do to help and I gave 3 or 4 things. His response was well it just sounds like you can't handle your job. Asked to help but just to flip it around and make me seem incompetent. In the same position I had a great boss just months before. He was beyond helpful and supportive. I think it just depends on which manager you get. I thrived with the good one. But the military like structure will mentally screw with you. They have a goal and will grind every bit of it out of you. You will never hear good job. Every year the Management team tries to get people to quit at yearly trainings. They give a speech and say there is the door, there is no shame in admitting you can't handle it. (2 years in a row I saw people get up and walk out) They said it was not worth the mental anguish of constantly waiting for the shape to drop. Working in fear wasn't worth it. Its quantity not quality.

Pros
Remote work. Benefits are Great. Clients appreciate your effort on an individual contributor level.
Cons
Leadship is disconnected. Compliment on performance then cut pay. Added addtional roles and responsibilities to existing portfolio without commensurate increase in pay. Direct Managers have ZERO influence therefore they are extremely ineffective and only protecting their existing roles.

Fast paced and intense work. Easy yet hard!
Aug 9, 2022 - Performance ManagerRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
The base pay for the role is great. You have a huge team of other PM's so if you ever have a question or need help, the network is extensive and responds quickly. The expectations are laid out fairly simple. Work from home and occasional travel to dealerships. It's a position which requires you to be a student of your profession but the resources are absolutely there for you to take advantage of. You can make some great friends and contacts. It opens the door to a TON of other career opportunities within the Cox organization. It's the easiest hardest job you'll ever have.
Cons
Metrics seem to be on a continuous increase to hit goals. PTO is inherently counted against you in your weekly goals which detracts some from taking their time off. It felt like you were always taking on tasks that were not for you, some PM's have to manage their dealerships more so than the GM of that dealer. I personally felt like turnover was too high and that the turnover rate was never given the level of concern it should have been. Not a huge focus on associate development by the leadership team. Felt like they managed metrics instead of taking on more of a leadership role to develop the teams.
