Operational/Finance Systems used for FM business need to be reviewed. Not being maximised to best effect. To many excel spreadsheets leads to duplication of effort. Need to have a look at number of reports that have to be produced. This can be counterproductive.

    Advice to Management

Need to be have iniiative as the business will leave you alone... to potentilly wither.

    Pros

The rates are good although this is for engineers/professionals and am pretty sure labourers get a lot less-
Decent Hours - 8.30 to 5.30 although permanent staff stay and arrive a lot later/earlier
Interesting Project - Very wide range of works can learn alot if you are interested

    Cons

The work can get repetitive at times and naturally construction projects have a pressure to meet deadlines

    Advice to Management

They seem to be doing alot but seem to be detached from subcontractors. There is a very large management structure compared to workers

I have been working at Vinci full-time

    Pros

fringe benefits and work/ life balance

    Cons

    where are the opportunities ?

    Advice to Management

it's high time you considered your employees as the future of the company. And please stop hiring engineers and just letting them go after 5 years because you do not anticipate enough their will to change

I worked at Vinci part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Quick to respond and get set up with

    Cons

Manager, lack of training, would scream at the top of her voice within 5 centermeters from my ear at me, very aggressive, in fact, boarderline phsycotic

    Advice to Management

Get a new manager at Thales in Basingstoke unless you have since summer 2011, the one I had the misfortune of dealing with was more of a thug with power than anyone who should be allowed to represent a company.
