        I worked at Vindico

        Pros

        Well organized, polite, generally competent

        Cons

Hectic, sometimes chaotic, high pressure, a contractor may be expected to work into the wee hours of the AM, rather ineffective at managing faculty, nitpicky, content matters but process matters more

I worked at Vindico for less than a year

        Pros

we would receive overtime as a trafficker which was good since many nights were spent working late, good account managers helped manage our workflow

        Cons

there was a bad balance of how much work there was versus how many traffickers there were, there was a huge focus on sales but no focus on ad operations

        Negative Outlook

        I worked at Vindico

        Pros

The lower echelon was full of very nice people who wanted to learn the industry. Some pretty intelligent millenials. The workload was fair though and lots to learn.

        Cons

Management was awful. Severe cronyism, unfair layoffs (as in letting go of people who were great, but not friends with mgmt) and grossly uneven salary.

        Advice to Management

        Disappear.

        Negative Outlook

I have been working at Vindico

        Pros

Company has many young, hardworking individuals, strong relationships between coworkers, health/dental/vision insurance

        Cons

Many departments desperately need resources, compensation is very low compared to the rest of the industry, promotions are very political, and there is a severe lack of transparency throughout the company

        Advice to Management

Be honest with your employees and address issues as they come up, find ways to show your employees they are valued.

        Neutral Outlook

I have been working at Vindico full-time for more than 3 years

        Pros

Entry-level jobs aren't as cut and dried - there is a lot of opportunity to take on extra responsibility and demonstrate your value. They encourage growing leadership internally and many people in leadership roles have been there for some time. The people here are passionate and their enthusiasm is really contagious- it's great going to work every day alongside people with whom you really enjoy spending time.

        Cons

Lack of resources. The opportunities to demonstrate value often come from a void in resources - you can end up taking on a lot of extra work to fill the gaps in an effort to provide the best possible service to clients. Unfortunately, the Catch 22 here is that because there is a dedicated team of really hard-working people, the ball never gets dropped enough to show the real need for expanding the teams.

        Advice to Management

Don't wait until there are major problems to address issues with resources. Even the best teams need an update or expansion in order to serve the business at scale.

        Positive Outlook

I have been working at Vindico full-time for more than a year

        Pros

It's a start-up atmosphere in a well established company. There's a great work-life balance, and lots of opportunity for growth within the digital space. It's a great starting point for anyone interested in getting into digital advertising.

        Cons

Certain teams are very easily promoted while others seem to have employees feeling kind of stuck. There is also a compensation issue in terms of salary increases within your position (i.e. if you've been in your position a year+ and staying in it but want a raise).

        Advice to Management

Listen to your employees and their needs.

        Positive Outlook

I have been working at Vindico full-time for more than a year

        Pros

Open environment with whiteboard walls and friendly faces. Work hours are flexible and they promote working from home. Awesome holiday parties, in-office free drinks and snacks, and fair medical/401k benefits. Reasonable salary negotiations.

        Cons

Too much favoritism in the organization. If the employee is in the Operations department, a promotion is inevitable. If the employee is in the Engineering or Creative departments, the only way he/she will get a promotion is if someone leaves the department or organization, which often causes conflict and a hostile workplace. Poor management of knowledge workers as well as biased and unreliable human resources even...

        Advice to Management

Personal growth is difficult to promote when there is so much favoritism in an office environment. Although the organization is growing and a structure is still being established, an organization should consider providing sufficient information and resources at the beginning of an employee's tenure in the organization. Furthermore, HR needs evaluation. My experience with HR has been very one-sided and not neutral....
