I worked at Vinfen part-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Good company overall with good benefits and fairly good schedules.

    Cons

Hard to transfer to a full time position when you are part-time, and the promotions are even harder if not impossible from within.

I worked at Vinfen full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good benefits, personal, sick, and vacation time.

    Cons

Management treat regular staff like slaves. Positive work ethics from staff is overlooked even by co-workers and management and goes unappreciated. Workplace favoritism was the norm having worked in mental health residential. MAP Audits are primary to clients which is terrible. This agency should be held accountable for giving lip service to staff who put in a year and a half to two years of hard work and dedication. Leave Vinfen while you can and fast.

    I worked at Vinfen full-time

    Pros

Good benefits, good mission, caring people working for a positive cause

    Cons

This particular manager creates a highly negative environment. She is only on site half time and doesn't seem to have a good grasp of what goes on when she's not there. She plays staff favorites and enforces policy inconsistently. Additionally, she is rarely present to appreciate and reward positive contributions and hard work, although is quick to cast blame for mistakes. Additionally, she simply isn't around enough to successfully lead such a large department. Such a shame---it could be very different in this department with different leadership that is constructive and growth-oriented.

I have been working at Vinfen full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Good company to learn certain skills, clients are nice for the most part, good benefits

    Cons

Management sucks, the wages suck, they don’t pay you correctly for overtime or holidays, there’s no communication between staff or Human Resources. Depressing environment to work in and there’s no room for growth. Definitely a stepping stone for your next job.
