I worked at Viracon full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great company to work for I only had to move away to help my sister with lupus but l tell everyone that I know if they're looking for a great job to apply at viracon.

    Cons

Some days could be better than others but overall I enjoyed myself.

    Advice to Management

I had the chance to work with a great company and team. I earned my forklift operator license and the opportunity to operate the robot in cutting, on my day's off I even came into work and work in other departments to help the company as well myself and learn new things and skills.

I worked at Viracon full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Good work shifts and the jobs aren't very hard. Great health benefits programs to take advantage of.

    Cons

Poor promotions and raises. They always seem to hire people from outside the company that they have to train instead of promoting the people who have been doing the work for years. There is a disconnect from the higher ups and the employees when it comes to making decisions that affect work life.

    Advice to Management

Start promoting from within and pay your employees a little more fairly.
