    Pros

    This company believes in its employees and empowers them. They are moving in the right direction. They practice what they preach and it's a lot of fun.

    Cons

    While most of the executives really fit with the Virgin way there are a couple of misses. But that'll happen anywhere.

    Advice to Management

    Keep moving forward. Keep empowering. Blaze your own path. Continue to be different.

    I worked at Virgin Mobile USA (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    Pay was above average. I was making up to $72K in my best year in overtime, due to the sheer incompetence of customer service. We worked out of Westwood, CA which was right in the center of all the great LA lifestyle.

    Cons

    They cut customer service down to the bone, making the escalations I had to deal with a complete nightmare.

    Advice to Management

    I keep seeing quotes by Richard Branson on social media about treating people right, like they matter. Why don't you make those quotes real, by actually treating people right, like they matter?

    I worked at Virgin Mobile USA full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Good benefits, promote from within, fast paced call center. I went from customer service representative to lead before my 90 day evaluation.

    Cons

    Call handle time. You have a time limit for each call and sometimes you get someone that hits ** instead of ## when doing an activation and they ttend to get 9 and 6 mixed up so your timing might be high for that call.

    I have been working at Virgin Mobile USA full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    It was an amazing company before Sprint took over, where employees weren't even allowed to use their titles.

    Cons

    Sprint in charge highly conscious of titles. Directors and Managers aren't supposed to mix. Sprint's old school culture ruined how cool Virgin used to be.

    Advice to Management

    Keep changing the Sprint culture.

    Pros

    Free Soda. Snacks were only $.25 but now you have pay almost a 1.00 for items. Great Coffee and hot chocolate, cups and silverware. Management got to live and work in their home town.

    Cons

    at the time there were no Cons. Now in 2013 I see the company going under.

    Advice to Management

    Bring back to the good coffee, the cups, silverware.
