I have been working at Virginia College full-time

    Pros

The mission of reaching a portion of the community that have not performed well at traditional colleges or universities is amazing, I have seen many lives changed

    Cons

The leadership of the company have failed us as employees and the students. Leadership does not know how to keep the company going in the right direction. They are lying to students, they are deceiving grads and employees into believing there is still hope. ECA will be closed within 3 years.

I have been working at Virginia College part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Great pay, awesome atmosphere...changing lives

    Cons

Poor upper management...bankrupt. Found out today that the entire ECA organization is closing due to ‘lack of funding’. How does that happen other than gross mismanagement at the upper levels in Birmingham? Sad that all the faculty and staff are losing their jobs...even worse the students missing out of their opportunities to learn.

    Advice to Management

Can’t even give advice...they’ll make out like bandits and we’re out a job and students out an degree.
