I have been working at Visiting Angels part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I love working at Visting Angels! They are very professional and work hard to find caregivers work shifts. I need another part time job close either in East Pasadena or Arcadia area.

    Cons

I only have one part-time shift of 12 hours and need another 15 hrs as soon as possible.

    Pros

The best thing about working for this company is the reward of helping the client you are taking care of.

    Cons

Management is chaotic, under-qualified, and willing to fill a position with under-qualified caregivers. No benefits to working for this company!

    Pros

Make your own schedule.management is nice ,there's nothing else to write. you want me to write 20 words when there aren't 20 for me.

    Cons

To many to list here.twenty words for the company conds twenty words for the company cons twenty words for the company cons

    Advice to Management

The management was really nice but I feel like some of these people would be better off hiring a maid or a house keeper a few days a week, house keeping isn't my strong point, caregiving is. Some times they say " light house keeping" it's alot more than that

I have been working at Visiting Angels part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

This company has a very popular name due to advertising budgets. The core people do make a great impression on possible clients.

    Cons

The core people do not hire people worthy of serving the client. The caregivers that are caring are easily run over by human resources. The very source that should care about humans but doesn't.

    Advice to Management

Put yourself in your clients and employees shoes. Just do it one time and you will change. If I had my own business model, I would take those things into account. I have seen and I know.

I have been working at Visiting Angels part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    They are flexible with schedule.

    Cons

Very low pay scale. Less than the national average. You still do the work of a CNA without certification pay. They call you a Homemaker. No opportunities for advancement. No bonuses. Maybe a $20 gift card for Christmas.

    Advice to Management

Pay people what they are worth. That's why people quit all the time.
