I have been working at Vistaar Technologies full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

There are actually a lot of pros regarding the job profile/environment at Vistaar.
    1. Good Work Environment.
    2. If you are a fresher, you get a lot of exposure. No company politics, trust me.
    3. You get 22 days of Holiday per year. Only 11 gets carry-forwarded. So, all managers are quite concerned if you don't take those remaining 11 leaves (I am serious. They force you to take leave in that case). But once all your 11 extra leaves goes, then the game begins. You cannot take planned leaves. Though you can take sick leaves but for 1 or 2 days only.(Haha.. So it works any ways)
    4. For freshers, everyone is quite supportive.
    5. Open door policy. You can actually approach even the V.P of the company (Though i won't suggest that because obvious! :P Try escalation levels. Your problem/ issues will get solved in HR Escalation level only.)
    6. I didn't find any company politics or so.
    7. No Weekend work. You will have a fixed 5 days work only.
    8. Flexible timings (Complete your 40 hours of work for the entire week)
    9. No formal wear( You have to wear semi casuals for 4 days - Monday-Thursday and for Friday you can wear casuals). But trust me. You can wear casuals for all 5 days. No issues. Company only needs you to work. If you are doing it, bam! You are sorted.

    Cons

Yes, there are downsides of working at Vistaar.
    1. You get stuck here. I am saying that because the technologies they use are not that market oriented. You will find difficulties while switching the job. No carrier opportunities. If you are planning to join this company, please ask the people who work here of the technologies they use here. If you think, it will be helpful for you, then only join.
    2. Management is quite improper. Everyone is quite informal. Only some act professionally. It looks like you have joined a new college only :P Because the company hires only freshers with one smart policy that experienced people want more salary hike but with less salary, we can hire freshers. Train them for 4-5 months and they will get be good for another 2-3 years.
    3. Company is in Vakola, Santacruz(Address). So people travelling from far away places, please think about giving it a shot. Because it's not that well connected to railway stations. Though Santacruz station is near then Kurla station. (MUMBAI)
    4. They are only having 3 offices(Branch). HQ is in Parrsippany(New Jersey), one branch in U.K and another in Mumbai. Though all development happens in Mumbai. The rest branches only focus on Sales. So you don't get any travel/On-Site opportunities here.
    5. Very less mind refreshing activities. Yearly only 4-5 activities are arranged by HR. And yes, we have Table Tennis and Carrom to play daily. But only after 5pm. You cannot play before 5pm.
    6. If you are commuting by car, then parking issues.
    7. Though they advertise themselves by "Free Food", don't fall for it. It sucks. You will get only nice food when freshers join (i.e July Month). But after that, you will be forced to bring tiffin/either go out in hotels.
    8. Though you have flexible timings, it doesn't work very well. You have to align your timings as per your team member/managers. But i have to admit, if you face any issues regarding the same, managers are quite supportive (Unless if you are not a dependency/ if it's not urgent).
    9. Timeline provided by managers are not realistic. Managers only care about their appraisals and nothing else. If they think they cannot achieve the target, they will push the releases after the appraisal.

    Advice to Management

Just take care about the appraisal system. Give appraisals to people who really work. Common appraisal system to all won't be a benefit for a long run for your company.
