I have been working at Vistronix full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

There are plenty of benefits, your boss checks on you regularly to see how you're doing (both online and in-person at your customer site), friendly staff, diverse workplace, plenty of customer projects to be placed in, and there's probably other stuff that I'm forgetting to mention.

    Cons

Although I think the pay is fair, it could be a little higher. That's the only con I have about this company, although location could be a contributor.

    Advice to Management

Honestly, keep doing what you're doing! I know it may be a little difficult to keep things the same now that we've been acquired by ASRC Federal, but it's still possible.

I have been working at Vistronix full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

There seems to be a lot of software development work now, and in the near/medium term . Leadership makes quick and reasonable decisions, with transparency. Supports some federal gov agency (client) missions you could be proud of.

    Cons

Steep learning curve for some of the company's client applications.

    Pros

Such a wonderful, fun company when it was Vistronix. Management truly cared about its employees.

    Cons

Acquisition by ASRC Federal changed the whole culture. Not the same company now. Legacy employees are very confused about roles and missions.

    I worked at Vistronix full-time

    Pros

Started out fine but steadily went downhill.

    Cons

Hostile management has resulted in an exodus of longtime reliable and well-intentioned employees

    Advice to Management

Listen to someone other than only managers

I worked at Vistronix full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

While an employee, it was a decent place to work. My lead was polite and friendly. They were well organized. They treated employees with dignity and respect for their individual needs.

    Cons

There seemed to not be enough work to go around. There were periods of time that were not very fulfilling.
If you are a good employee and decide to leave, be prepared for a good amount of flak, threats of negative employment record, and insults to your integrity as a person and professional.
I was disappointed with being told by the VP that I would have a black mark on my record. And that when the company went after the contract I was going to and won it, that they would remember my choosing to leave. It caused me quite a bit of concern that the company and it's leadership would speak negatively of me, negatively impacting future employment prospects with other agencies or contracts.
I was called into an office and had many false inferences made about my integrity by the PM 10 minutes after submitting my notice to resign. They walked me out after two days, citing the lack of need to keep it going in light of how I am leaving.
They did not adhere to their termination guidelines and have not paid me my accrued benefits. I had requested an opportunity to speak with HR leadership regarding the things that were said. The reply of the person I was speaking to was, "maybe later, she's very busy." That was 3 weeks ago.

    Advice to Management

Don't threaten employees on their way out. That's the only advice I can offer. There were a lot of great things about the company and its leadership that were destroyed in one conversation and phone call. Leaving that awesome team was difficult, until I submitted my notice.

I have been working at Vistronix full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Whichever direction you want to take your career, pending it's in tha same relative field, you can do it at Vistronix. The new integration with ASRC Federal has gone more than well and business is pressing on as always. There haven't been any layoffs due to the acquisition and that's a huge perk. Keep doing what you're doing upper management.

    Cons

the only con I can think of is sometimes annual reviews can slip a few weeks here or there but that's because of a lot of business coming in the past few years.
