I worked at Vitamix full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great pay, lucrative commission structure. Lots of flexibility (you can choose which shows you work). Basically an autonomous job, managers provide amazing support within their resources. I felt heard and supported. So many miscellaneous benefits to this job!! Paid weekly.

    Cons

Long hours, you need to know time management. You are on your own, so if you don't like that you may want to think twice. I loved it. Don't pay for travel or lodging, but those costs do not mean you will loose money traveling to a show. Out fI town an average 18 days out of the month, the other days you have off.

I have been working at Vitamix full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

I've been selling this product many years. Customers love it which makes it easy to sell. A product that truly changes people's lives who use it.

    Cons

Travel is sometimes difficult on family. Hours can be long because it's retail and stores we demonstrate in are open 10-12 hours a day.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work. Listen to your employees and take care of them. The less turnover the better and if you take care of your own they will be loyal like family

I have been working at Vitamix part-time

    Pros

Such a great company to work for. I believe it its blender and how it can change your life towards a healthier one. The blender is so powerful and sales itself.

    Cons

Supervisors & HR need to deal with the employees more and not just the employees that they care about. I decided to leave and lost interest in the company months before due to the favoritism an disconnect with upper management.

    Advice to Management

Stop the favoritism! Favortism is huge with HR, Work Force Management and Supervisors. I truly doubt John Barnard would endorse that type of behavior.

great benefits package, and competitive salary package. Nice culture and company history.

not too many cons. except job security. I was hired with great longevity expectations, and unfortunately the company came into hard times rather quickly and unexpectedly and my position was dissolved in a corporate reorganization
