    Pros

Cafe is alright. Benefits is above average. Unlimited paid time off (if your manager approves which some dont).

    Cons

The commissioned employee's are incredibly unprofessional and can say whatever they want to corporate employees with no oversight from their manager or HR. The infrastructure is dated, I cannot even get outlook or excel to work sometimes with no help from management or IT. As a modern tech company it is inconceivable that their corporate setup has computers that can barely run, but then sales support teams get brand new macbooks and top of the line monitors. Also, not even cost of living adjustments. It is very apparent that management cares about one part of the company and one part only.

    Advice to Management

    See above.

I have been working at Vivint Smart Home full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Flexibility and ability to travel for work.

    Cons

Paid hlf commission upfront and rest Oct. of every year.

    Advice to Management

Pay the reps. That’s actually compete summer program and after freeZe date. Money was completely robbed from me after the initially freeze date for my backend.

I worked at Vivint Smart Home full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Growing as an individual. Opportunity to make as much money as the work you put in. It's a competitive environment but the people you work with you may find yourself doing business with in the future. They are the best sales force in America and their company culture really shows for it. It's super energetic but not devouring like your typical shady sales places. You get to travel and see a lot of places.

    Cons

Physically and mentally demanding. Weekends are a priority. Some weeks you might not sell and might make no money. But this goes with any door-to-door sales process. If you're introverted, the Extroverted environment may be a turn off, but I don't think sales would be good to begin with anyway if that were the case.

    Advice to Management

I think the Off-Summer operations could improve a little. But they are just barely exploring this area so they can't be blamed too much. Also, somehow creating incentives for rookies not to quit. This may be hard to create but I feel would perhaps rookies from quitting so much due to the steep learning curb.

    Cons

Unless you've made management your goal, this isn't the type of job most would turn into a long-term career.
