    Cons

Sometimes hours can be very long but it's expected of restaurant business anyway.

I worked at Vocelli Pizza full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Franchises are owned by smaller families, so the workplace has a definite family feel. Training is offered by corporate with new releases.Room for advancement.

    Cons

The pizza industry is a competitive environment, and they have constant menu changes. Keeping a positive attitude in the workplace makes this a simple fix, though.

    Advice to Management

Always work closely when training new employees and SHOW ENTHUSIASM!

    Pros

Free pizza. Free anything because management is so bad.

    Cons

Hours. No training. Lay off and turnover rate high because of both.

    Advice to Management

I'm not sure about your management. Be careful who you let run your business.

I have been working at Vocelli Pizza part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Money in your pocket everyday as a driver.
Always an interested day, great coworkers.
Management really cares about the business and employees.
    Fast paced, never boring.

    Cons

Base pay of non-driving jobs are low, but to be expecting in this industry.

Not a lot of chances to move up, as there aren't a lot of positions to fill.

If you drive, as any delivery job, it beats up your car. Not specific to Vocelli's, just the job in general.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work, no comments on advice.

I worked at Vocelli Pizza full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Vocelli Pizza, at least at the one I worked at, had great people. Working the day shift I had full ability to work on what ever I wanted during the day besides doing some deliveries and a few side responsibilities. I had to get used to the idea of doing personal stuff during work hours (as I'm sort of a hard butt), but I got used to it and it is very nice being able to be productive both in work and personal items.

    Cons

There is an obvious risk in the fact that you are using your car and something bad could happen to it.

The other downside which would apply to anybody who is not very flexible is that either you are going to work 12+ hours that day or 4. The restaurant is open from 11 to 11 and so somebody needs to work the day and it would be unfair if they didn't get to work the night after working a slow day.

    Advice to Management

Make sure you always have 2 or more drivers per restaurant that are willing to work during the day. 12 hours back to back more than four times in a row is going to make drivers disappear. If you have three drivers who are willing that means that if you loose one you still have 2, vs holding at 2 and then only having 1 and soon there after 0.

If you share drivers across restaurants you will have even more flexibility. Have each driver know two areas.
