I worked at Vodafone full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Decent pay and good benefits. Very flexible with personal needs and flex time for driving to and from the office. Strong brand in Europe and Africa.

    Cons

Very European focused. Most better opportunities are filled with expats who move here or managed in EU (UK in particular). Tight deadlines and late nights are not unusual. More of centralized HQ in UK with each country as independent subsidiaries. Need more structure.

    Advice to Management

Become truly global and strategic. Entering US Market & exiting in less than a year shows politics and knee jerk rash decisions often rule more than strategy. Don't assume EU is untouchable from decisions you make that impact global clients elsewhere. Also look to standardize more to make it easier to do business with and increase efficiency.

    I worked at Vodafone full-time

    Pros

incredible autonomy, flexible working, start-up mentality

    Cons

process driven, nepotism, lot's of corp talk about people with little action, poor compensation

    Advice to Management

need to understand poor employee morale and drive some org wide changes to avoid losing talent

  7. "Not bad."

    Pros

Fun people, great office culture, nice campus. you get 7 pounds a day to spend at the cafeteria so lunch is taken care of.

    Cons

There's not much work to do. Looks like people aren't as busy as they should be. Not too many deliverables.

    Advice to Management

Actually give deliverables to your employees, otherwise they won't be able to get much work done because they don't know what you want.
