I have been working at Volt Payments full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Volt Payments is a great place to work for. I've been here over three years now and it's been a eye-opening experience, and I can easily say I've never been happier with a career decision. Management is constantly helping to shape employees and bring structure to our office. Our company is constantly growing by offering new products and services and I love being a part of that constant growth. It's refreshing to work...

    Cons

From a training point of view, it's tough to see someone come in as a new hire and go through training only to give up on themselves a few days later. Not to say that this happens a lot, but it never feels good to see someone fresh come in, go through training, get shaped up by management, and ultimately stop pushing themselves.

I have been working at Volt Payments full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

This is a good place to work. To me its like a big family. Being in sales, we all try to work together which I think is very important and different from a lot of other companies. Upper management is very hands on and approachable. They promote from within to me is key. Lots of leads, keep on coming every day. Excellent benefits program.

    Cons

Highly competitive industry. Really need to convey our benefits to merchants in a short amount of time. There is a lot to learn which may seem overwhelming to some but if you can sell, its well worth the payoff.

    Advice to Management

Keep trying different lead gen programs like you have been doing!

I have been working at Volt Payments full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The pro's to working for an organization like this is the independence withing the position. I also enjoy working for a company with commission and residuals, No one is capping your salary here. I run about 5 appointments that are daily provided as well as self-generating business along the way. Even when I have down time i still have potential clients. The commission is more than i have ever made with any processor in...

    Cons

The most common challenge here is overcoming the merchant already burned by dishonest companies. It may take a few visits to earn their trust but once the began processing with us they soon see the difference.

    Advice to Management

I wish i would of known to send a test application prior to heading out into the field.

I have been working at Volt Payments full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Excellent opportunity for advancement, lateral or horizontal. Top people in company run a tight ship, but you get what you earn

    Cons

from the start they expect a lot because they believe in commitment, they want you to work outside of work like training and outside business,

    Advice to Management

real life solutions for a merchants in real time, there should be more training whether its volunteering before or after work- or 30 minutes in the middle of the day, we should be trained on equipment and whats best for a merchant like safepay vs wireless. all pros and cons

I worked at Volt Payments full-time for less than a year

    Pros

There is not one positive thing to say about this company, not one.

    Cons

Where to start? I worked for this company less than 5 months. My job was to recruit and manage a team of sales people. Here was the problem, once I got a verbal commitment for someone to come to work they would check Volt Payments online, for reviews. That was the kiss of death, once a potential sales agent saw the poor reputation Volt had they never came on board. We could not recruit anyone. The sales manager was online...
