I have been working at Volt full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    The hiring process is easy.

    Cons

They tell you that you're important to the company. When you're an at will worker. They tell you that you can't make facial expressions or end of assignment. They also tell you to speak to a Volt Rep if you have an issue with someone. Which will mainly be your supervisor. But when you do go tell. They make excuses for them. They threaten people's (at will workers) jobs. They basically expect you to be treated very poorly and deal with it for 11.50 an hour.

    Advice to Management

Treat all employee's fairly. Don't tell people to listen to their line leads and debugs no matter what. And when a line lead or debug tells them to do something that they aren't supposed to do. The at will worker gets in trouble for it. You guys have so many line leads who believe their debugs over the operator's even when there are several witnesses testifying to it being done.

I have been working at Volt full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    Work/Life Balance
    Competitive Salary
    Upward Career Opportunities

    Cons

Company reorg that has been going on for years now.
    CEO without Staffing experience
    Poor corporate infrastructure

    Advice to Management

Stop hiring upper management at huge salaries who don't know the organization and don't want to roll up their sleeves and fix things.

I have been working at Volt full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Was given the impression this was the place to go for full time work recommended by an executive recruiter.

    Cons

Only part-time employment, no benefits, not enough work. People with degrees and management skills need not apply because they will tell you to look elsewhere. And give your resume back to you with a shrug of the shoulders as if they do not care about people.

    Advice to Management

When you have someone who is mentioned by an executive recruiter to find people with management skills employment and end up waiting for someone for an hour to interview plus having them answer the phone while talking to you and eating breakfast is very unprofessional.

    I worked at Volt part-time

    Pros

Quickly placed in position. Pay was good for the position hired for.

    Cons

Although very upbeat and enthusiastic while placing me, there was so follow up after assignment ended. Did not assist with finding another position. Didn't get me properly set up in their payroll system and first paycheck was late.
