    This is a Worldwide organization, with operations in more than one hundred countries. Very diverse and broad, so there are opportunities in different countries

    A very large organization is always a challenge to administer, set the right processes in place and keep up with market demands at the same time

    I have been working at Volvo Group full-time

    Pros

    Opportunity to directly work with business and being involved in business transformation projects. New CEO has set up some ambitious goals and definitely IT will play an important role . Decent hikes, respect for people and flexibility in ways of working to meet the deliverable .

    Cons

    Bit slow in adopting new technology ,but in right direction. Career options and growth for senior folks is limited. However organization is working to address this by coming up with a career model and possible paths.

    Advice to Management

    Keep the up the Trust in people and challenge people. Create more opportunity for team.

    Pros

    The company health care and ETO (earned time off) benefits are phenomenal! The company believes in the quality of life for its employees and gives you opportunities to earn rewards (ex. gift cards) through free health screenings.

    Cons

    You very well may have a slow beginning in terms of work assignments. Often times I would feel as though I was not contributing very much to my team, but it was there method of assisting with my cultural transition into the company.

    Advice to Management

    Training of new employees could be a bit better. The company devotes a large amount of time in individuals learning "The Volvo Way" and often times you may feel as though you could be doing a lot more with assignments.
