I have been working at Vonage full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Work is challenging but extremely rewarding
Beautiful campus with volleyball/tennis court and bikes
Great benefits and ability to balance work/life
Room for growth - I moved into a new position after being here 1.5 years
Corporate understands what's necessary to win in their markets
CEO is intelligent and has a clear vision for the future
    Culture/values are going positive direction

Right now is the best time to join Vonage because it's an opportunity to be part of an organization that will be a leader in the industry.

    Cons

Headquarter location is a challenge - need to better promote brand awareness in order to attract young/tech savvy talents

    Advice to Management

Visit other office locations more and listen to what they have to say

I worked at Vonage full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Has the resources of a corporate yet feels like a startup in all the best regards
    Very nice and professional workers
    Very nice atmosphere

I worked in Vonage in Israel for about 3 month. At the time I was only 18. Vonage gave me the chance to work on a side project. Vonage was willing to give me a chance to work there, even though it was for a very short period of time, and considering my age I didn't have as much experience as the other workers only the background in computers I got from myself my school and the university.
I had such a blast working there. I learned so much and met such amazing people. The fact that they gave me this chance to work in such an amazing company with such amazing people is just mind blowing!

    Cons

I worked there only for 3 month so I really have zero complaints. It was a blast and I honestly did not have any problem with anything there. All the experience I hit from these 3 month are just amazing.

The Isreali office has a great atmosphere and a great location

    Cons

Since there were many recruitments lately, and we are all in the same open space, the office is a bit crowded. but they are working on it.

I have been working at Vonage full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - Good work environment
    - Nice People
    - Good Scheduling

    Cons

    - Company needs to not promise to promote people then after gong through the process saying they are not going to promote. (I exceed requirements too)

    - They need to tell employees accurate information when they come on.

    - Things break to much .. Lots of "broken" things are not fixed or take too long.

    - We are NOT PAID ENOUGH for the stuff we do

    Advice to Management

    STRUCTURE.

    Pros

Great atmosphere and tons of fun at the Israeli R&D Center
    Beautiful office
    Fun people
    Colorful
And BEST of all, as a programmer I can say that you get to do a lot. Always.
Our responsibilities are wide, we work hard and we are well appreciated for it.

    Cons

The office is open-spaced, some people like it better and some don't. However, the workers are thoughtful and for me personally, headphones do the work.

I have been working at Vonage full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Nice perks in NJ location, lunch stipend, free snacks and beverages. Full benefits package and excellent community involvement.

    Cons

Too many layoffs in the last few years. Not convinced that management has a good handle on the direction of the company.

Health premiums are high for traditional insurance.

    Advice to Management

Stop the spin, stop the realignment and try to get it right.

    I worked at Vonage full-time

    Pros

    - Albeit very bright people employed by Vonage - key roles and individuals seem to have been pushed out.

    - Good core, majority of people friendly

    Cons

    - Salaries are not competitive to the market and there is significant discrepancy between staff salaries
    - 50% of the workforce, you question what they do day to day ( too many people, not enough work)
    - Management is questionable at best, very knee jerk management style
    - Very political
    - Misaligned targets in sales
    - zero chance of progression in the company

    Advice to Management

    - Provide fair salaries, perks mean nothing when you cannot afford to live comfortably
