I worked at Vonage full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

People (worker bees) are great. $100 per month to spend at cafe. In site gym is free of you have any time to go.

    Cons

Absolutely no career growth. Only select few advance. Complete disconnect with what management says about making Vonage a "destination place to work" and how things really are.

    Advice to Management

Try recognizing the hard work of your current employees. Promote from within or you will lose valuable employees who have dedicated years to the company. Hold managers/directors accountable. If you are going to talk the talk about how great you want the company to be, then walk the walk.

All tools possible to complete the job.

    Cons

    Favoritism
No room for advancement if you are no one.
    Harsh attendance policy.
    Consistent change in set schedule.
Not convenient if you are single with children.

    Advice to Management

The same rules need to be enforced across the board. not just supervisor to supervisor basis. Ask 10 supervisors a question, get twenty different answers.

I worked at Vonage full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great CEO who genuinely cares. He has a vision of "employee first" that is not being in realized. Plenty of great people work at the company but those are all the people who look at each other and wonder "how did we get here?"

    Cons

Declining market, can't acquire (and then integrate) successfully because nobody wants to make hard decisions and/or politics always prevail. Inept C-suite - COO is great, others are not even trying. Horrific HR - new chief people officer (whatever they call her) walked into a bad situation but has done nothing to make it better.

    Advice to Management

Perhaps painful and embarrassing to admit that you've put the wrong people into senior level jobs but ignoring the problems is not going to make it go away.
