    Pros

We get to produce the highest quality work. We do not cut corners so our level of professionalism shows. We work with the best companies who are the masters of their fields as well.

    Cons

There is a steep hierarchy here. Sometimes you feel like your opinion does not matter.

    Advice to Management

We should be able to work from home and have less of a strict vacation day policy.

    Pros

I work in the DC division and it's a great place to work. The people are the best in the industry -- both on the property management and engineering side -- and hard work and diligence is recognized and rewarded.

    Cons

Vornado is a large company that has scale. To leverage that scale requires a structured and hierarchical approach to management. This can be frustrating because decision are often made at high levels of the company and innovation is not often pursued, but rather is discussed with higher up, and if they think it's a good idea, then it is slowly implemented.

    Advice to Management

More testing of innovative ideas to both encourage engagement and find potential solutions for broader deployment.
