I worked at Votenet Solutions (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Great people to work with. Benefits are wonderful and the company culture fosters inclusiveness and all are made to feel supported. Your opinion in its workplace is always encouraged.

    Cons

Don't have anything really negative to say overall

    Advice to Management

Keep a better eye on new management hires. If unchecked they can create divisiveness and frustration among staff that did not exist prior to their arrival.

I worked at Votenet Solutions part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Flexible working hours
    Free lunch on Friday

    Cons

Do not have a clear clue what they are doing.
If you don't clearly know your product, how could you expect your customer to understand it.

    Advice to Management

Commit to deadlines. Flexible and relaxing culture is good but too much will kill passionate and motivative people.

    Pros

Votenet is a growing company with good benefits and compensation. The management is helpful and does everything in their power to go to bat for employees. Centrally located in DC next to the Orange/Blue and Red lines for easy access.

    Cons

It is a small company so you may often have to wear many hats. This can be a con if you are focused on a specific career goal, but it does give you the opportunity to take on more responsibility and grow at the same time.

    Advice to Management

It would be helpful if management was more transparent about changes and long-term goals of the organization. Having a clear outlook would provide employees with more direction in their daily activities.
