      Pros

I've been with VuMedi for under a year but my experience has been nothing short of exciting. If you're someone who thrives on challenges, takes pride in a strong work ethic, and wants to see your contributions make a real impact, this is the place for you. One of the standout qualities of VuMedi is its culture of growth mindset. Most leaders here genuinely care about your development, and they encourage you to stretch your capabilities. It's a place where your potential is not just acknowledged but actively cultivated. The company is on a remarkable growth trajectory, and it's evident in the opportunities that arise for those willing to seize them.

      Cons

VuMedi might not be the right fit if you're seeking high predictability or looking to coast in your role. Things can get a little chaotic at times, but I've come to see that as a sign of a dynamic workplace that's constantly evolving and pushing boundaries.

        Pros

People are very friendly. They are respectful of your time, and always willing to help. It's a great culture. The product the company is working on has great potential and it's a net positive for the world at the end of the day. This is a great feeling.

        Cons

Sooner or later everything needs to be approved by the company's owner, which creates bottlenecks (he is a single person after all). It feels like this tends to slow down mid-management.

I recently interviewed for a role that I was very excited about. The interview with the hiring manager was going so well and then he said, “we’re a family here.” It’s a really large company and I have a friend who is on this team and she has said so many amazing things about the company and the job itself. What do y’all think about this? I know it’s often seen as a red flag but all other flags are green. If it helps any, he is not from the US but it is a US based company.

Have you ever done interview & just felt the team or company wasn’t sitting well with your gut? How does that factor into your decision if an offer is made? Obv a job interview time is limited so you never know but sometimes I just have a vibe it’s not a match and even though I may keep going in rounds, I’m always checking if I finally get the gut feeling this may be right. I had one where round 1-4 the mood was off. I felt I was being nitpicked harshly always, they rejected me in the end
