I worked at W.G. Yates & Sons Construction full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There was a great work environment. They cared and wanted you to succeed. Very big into safety. As long as you did your job, you had no problems.

    Cons

I really have no cons for this job. Everything was spectacular. I would love to work for them again. This is construction and every construction job is temporary, I loved every minute of it.

    Advice to Management

There is no advice I would give. Keep doing what you're doing!

    Pros

The best ethics and safety policies regarding craft professionals. An emphasis on safety and integrity within the organization. These pros are good but they do not out way the cons.

    Cons

Their is no consistent vision throughout all the companies this makes for a lot of wasted effort and potential layoff opportunities within the company.

    Advice to Management

Get your act together none of your companies have any idea how to work together.

    Pros

They employ many people - keeping the unemployment down. Nothing else in the PRO column

    Cons

The overall knowledge and ability of the engineering group in Birmingham was the worst I have see short of Hargrove when speaking of heavy industrial design. Extremely bad benefits.

    Advice to Management
