    Okay job

    Pros

It's a good 9-5 job if that is what you are looking for. Difficult for career growth eventhough there are lots of roles within the company. They almost never transition people out of their initial role and there tends to be a ceiling for upward mobility.

    Cons

Lack of upward mobility. Accounts are assigned based on level of earning to make things 'fair' regardless of competence or lack thereof. This is a bit dysfunctional and handicaps true high performers.

    Cons

    No leadership, communication, organization, teamwork.

    Pros

good money when YOU get there

    Cons

No training, no direction, nobody talks to each other, owner is a tyrant. Your head is buried in your laptop. I created stress ulcers working there. They hire and fire fast. RUN AWAY!

    Pros

You get to work from home.

    Cons

    - I was paid as "Position A", but did all these other errands / responsibilities for the CTO that wasn't related to work for the company. - I signed on without having anything to read clear descriptions of what I would be doing for my time there. - Constantly having anxiety trying to figure out what the CTO wants done and learning complex technologies he assigns to accomplish tasks. No help from CTO because he's too busy doing company related things, while you're doing his non company related things. - You will never be able to look at someone and proudly say you enjoy what you do.

    Fantastic Opportunity

Feb 16, 2018 - Account Executive in Santa Monica, CA

    Business Outlook

    Pros

W4 provided me with a competative compensation as well as an invaluable education and insight into what was current in the ever-changing world of Affiliate Marketing. They provide the resources to make you successful, so it's up to you to take ownership and responsibility with those resources and make it happen.

    Cons

Can be a little fast paced at times (is that a con?) so you need to stay very focused and organized.

    Stale company run by children

    Pros

Santa Monica If you are a clock puncher, this place is for you. The place empties out right at quitting time. If you are good looking female, chances are they will hire you and you will do well. CEO is known to date employees ( currently does). Great place to work if you are a yes man.

    Cons

No vision, nothing exciting and innovating, executives sit in their offices and manage through their Directors who are children, complacent employees, favoritism especially if you are a pretty girl, huge pay gaps between the affiliate team and ad sales team (which is bragged about) , no career advancement opportunities, no HR management, they hire people with no experience so they don’t know what is acceptable in a workplace and also don’t push back because they don’t know any better, if you have a strong personality and speak up chances are you will be gone or quit.

    Pros

The company allows you autonomy to essentially run your own business with the backing a multimillion dollar organization. The company was founded by affiliate marketing veterans and there is no better place to learn the industry. Well respected logo. Do the job and you'll be taken care of.

    Cons

It's a job. You have to go to the office.
