    Pros

The environment is generally great. The full time staff are overall very friendly and supportive of part time student staff. Great opportunity to meet other students at the university.

    Cons

May not always have the best hours.

    Neutral Outlook

I have been working at WA State University Recreation part-time

    Pros

    - They work around your class schedule
    - Shifts do not typically last too long
    - Great place to Network if you are in the field of Recreation

    Cons

    - Lots of trainings to keep up to date (if you are not in to this sort of thing)
    - Many of their programs begin early in the morning
    - Many work areas require students to work one "break" (i.e., thanksgiving, winter break, and spring break)

    Advice to Management

Make more of an emphasis on appreciating what the student temporary staff do. During my time there, there were times when I did not feel valued for what I did for the recreation center.

    Cons

The job can become a little boring and repetitive at times, but it's not too bad.
