    Approves of CEO

I worked at WD Partners full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great professional company with so many perks...gym, ping pong, work-life balance, inspiring atmosphere, talented coworkers. Great senior staff and support. Great project workflow.

    Cons

Not too many, I felt very comfortable discussing any issues with various senior staff and getting the direction and/or challenge. Opportunities are there if you ask.

    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at WD Partners full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Nice building and web site image is impressive.

    Cons

Over committed and lack of engineering services support. The image of the company is progressive, but it seems to be run by PMI professionals and not Design professionals. Workers always worried about being let go without notice.

    Neutral Outlook

I have been working at WD Partners full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

The company culture is nice. It's a generally relaxed environment and the lower level management and non-management employees are a pleasure to work with. It's a fairly stable workplace if you have competence in your field.

    Cons

Upper management generally seems to have no clue with regard to employee management and employee relations. It seems that the main criteria for a VP level person in this company is someone who is a good salesman. Understanding how to manage or even relate to their employees seems to be far down the qualification list. Despite whatever the current company slogan is, profit is the main focus. How does this affect the employee...

    Advice to Management

Learn how manage and relate to your employees and be honest with them. Your people, or "human capital" as we were called for awhile, aren't fooled by salesman who think they can talk their way out of anything. Create a climate where your employees feel valued. Actually make yourself available to your employees. Chris Doerschlag, actually get involved in your company again and see what is happening. When you moved away...
