I have been working at WD Partners full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Top clients, very talented and smart people, and diversified services makes it an interesting place to learn and experience a lot- if you apply yourself.

    Cons

With diversified services comes diversified skills and perspectives from your associate pool. This makes unifying processes, systems, and culture a difficult task.

    Advice to Management

Continue to work on building a plan to match the company's vision. It needs to be communicated to all associates so that they understand the goals in front of them.

I worked at WD Partners full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Great teams, great people with a comfortable office culture.

    Cons

More work is taken on or agreed to than there are resources for which lead to an incredible amount of persistent overtime. There is a lot of what appears to be say yes now and figure it out later.

    Advice to Management

Check in with the teams managing and developing the product more often. See where resources are more critical to maintain a better balance with less burn out.

    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at WD Partners full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Some good projects amongst all the roll-out. Good resume builder. Golden handcuffs for a select few.

    Cons

Disconnected management. Implementation of a Project Management by non- architectural or engineering professionals. Client's question value of their PM's. Zero room for advancement. Staff running away.

    Advice to Management

Quit chasing the next shiny penny, jettison PMO and focus on core improvements.

    I worked at WD Partners

    Pros

The best reason to work for WD Partners is that you can get some of experience needed for professional registration, and they pay for registration exams. They have limited project types (retail/restaurants) that typically are in different parts of the country, so there is little hope to get all professional Intern Development Program or Engineer In Training requirements completed at WD Partners. There are little to...

    Cons

Managers do not respect professional registration or experience, as it is not necessary for the business model or projects. Most work is done with associates with no professional registration and little to no review by those signing or sealing drawings. There are very limited types of project types (retail/restaurants) and a lot of roll-out and respetitive work (typically are in different parts of the country), so...

    Advice to Management

Take care of clients better if you want to get more work. Client were never respected or taken care of by the right people.
