Be honest with your employees of their future with company. Don't wait to let them know if they are going to be let go with the new ownership.

    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

Those not in management positions are great to work with. Medical coverage is decent but not great. Vacation policy is good.

    Cons

Company Culture, Salary, No real opportunities for Advancement, Disengaged and out-of-touch Senior Management team, 401K is not all that great, paid holidays could be better

    Advice to Management

Get a clue. Treat people with respect. Staff should work to live not live to work. Everything can't be last minute; plan and be pro-active instead of being reactionary.

I worked at WGN America full-time

    Pros

Interesting show concepts for production. Many of the employees were professional and talented.

    Cons

An exorbitant amount of employee/ upper management conflicts throughout, poor leadership, inappropriate favoritism, advancement not based on performance or experience. Seemed most of the good people were leaving. Not a good outlook for longevity for the channel.
