    Advice to Management

Provide more support to the sales and warranty team.

I worked at WIND Mobile part-time

    Pros

Commission can be good during busy months where people shop for new plans/phones

    Cons

General commission is very dependent on location of store you're working at

    Advice to Management

Training was set in stone and very linear. Some employees may benefit from dynamic training.

I have been working at WIND Mobile full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Location is nice, accessible and relatively safe.

    Cons

Bad work culture, extremely low employee engagement, no meaningful communication and the work environment is cluttered with low caliber management. Micro-management is the norm while creativity and hard work is quantified by how far you are from favoring managers/connections.

    Advice to Management

Listen and practice the company values.

    Pros

    Good compensation
    Great team
    Great cell plan

    Cons

    Management is awful
Communications top down in organization is really bad
Deceitful marketing brings customers in but then leaves employees out to dry

    Advice to Management

Take care of your employees by delivering honest marketing. Not having full Canada-wide coverage is fine. We can explain that. Showing posters of being able to get zero dollar phones and then showing flagship phones, which no one can get for $0, on the poster as well is what causes large escalations and make the job aweful.
Get a better training program. Monthly quizzes aren't engaging and aren't effective.

I worked at WIND Mobile full-time

    Pros

Hitting targets are fun challenging tool to develop work skills. The company is young, so they are willing to employ new strategies to provide volume - supporting reps to hit targets.

    Cons

Category specific bonuses and growth in company is chaotic - reps who work at stores that hit targets may have better quality of worklife (and earning value/worth) compared to store managers.
