    New exiting technologies available, a great team to work with. This is a company that value its employ. The company provides internship.

    the company is located in north Chicago and has bad traffic. the company hires consultants. having less full time opportunities.

    Friendly work culture. Testing team manager Tim is very friendly.

    Cons

    No H1B sponsor.
    Less pay.
    Sometimes bad people are there everywhere

    I worked at WMS Gaming as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

    I worked there on a contractual in recruiting and loved it. The people were great, loved the atmosphere and met a lot of wonderful people (employees to senior level executives). I don't you'll find an environment like this anywhere in Chicago.

    Cons

    My job was contract only. I can't think of any cons.

    Advice to Management

    Hire me on a full time basis! I would love to spend the rest of my career here.

    A little slow sometimes. No real complaints.

    Pros

    The pay is good, the hours are flexable, PTO (Vacation/Sick days) is excellent, above averge number of Holidays and a good management team.

    Cons

    Larger company- hard to get things done. Sometimes internal clients are difficult, have other priorities, are too bussy or just don't want to take responsibility. Difficulty and amount of work can be overwhelming at times.

    Advice to Management

    New managemnt is on board with the purchase of WMS by Scientific Games

    I worked at WMS Gaming as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Casual dress, well educated colleagues willing to help, excellent location, accommodating facilities, room for growth and movement within the company. Cross-functionality between departments to create a better work environment.

    Cons

    The only cons that I can think of are that the manufacturing facility is located an hour away from the technology headquarters and traveling to this facility is time consuming.

    Pros

    Very autonomous, little to no managerial interference
    Loose atmosphere, very laid back and friendly
    Management open to new ideas

    Cons

    For my job, it was 50% travel
    Since they're a manufacturing company, they're directly affected by any economic downturns

    Advice to Management

    Spend money wisely and take advantage of all opportunities to save money.
    Help the regulatory agencies to embrace new technologies (i.e. virtualization)
    Always keep innovating and keep the engineers at the forefront of new innovations.

    Company empowers employees to take action. Leaders listen to employees and act on their feedback. Very great work benefits and environment. People are generally respectful and talented.

    Cons

    Workload can be intense at times. Not everything is perfect but company works to consistently improve.
