I worked at WMUR-TV (More than 5 years)

    Pros

A fast paced news environment, even slow days are rarely dull and when things really get going its exciting and intense.

Excellent employees, almost everyone in every department works hard to produce an excellent news broadcast.

Excellent place for those interested in politics, an active and involved coverage of local politics as well as the important first in the nation presidential primary.

    Cons

Odd hours, most of the people end having to work shifts with extremely early hours or very late nights which will affect your personal and social life.

Occasionally stressful, it is live television and takes a lot of people all working together at their best to make sure things move smoothly. And to recover and catch errors early to produce a clean show.
