I have been working at WPG Holdings full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I have read some of the older reviews and things have really changed at WPA. They have a much more progressive model allowing decisions to be made at my level. Pay is very fair and benefits are as good as other companies in this segment. I am very happy at WPG and it current work envirornment.

    Cons

Need a few more lines but know more are being added all the time.

    Advice to Management

Current team is solid and industry leaders. Stay the course and continue transformation.

    Pros

Fairly secure job due to the fact that no one wants to come work here and management is desperate.

    Cons

Good old boys club, corporate cronyism pervades entire organization. Management is very paranoid and extremely insecure which makes life hard.

    Advice to Management

Hire managers other than old buddies who only have their own self interest at heart. Company lacks creativity and direction.

    Pros

Start-up style company with seeming potential for career growth & advancement. Opportuntiy to contribute to early growth stages of well backed (financially) company looking for a foothold beyond their business ventures in Asia.

    Cons

Not sure how to do business in the Americas. No global presence (not established in Europe). Small product offering. Management has turned work environment into "good ol' boys" club.

    Advice to Management

Mothership (Taiwan) should maintain the "New Era in Distribution" philosophy. Current management uses the same distribution model as every other distributor in the Americas - without having the product offerings or stock necessary to compete in the market. Eliminate the "Good Ol' Boys" network.
