    Health benefits are decent, producers have good freedom to exercise news judgment

    Cons

    Poor leadership, often report things that are incorrect by not fact checking, very few vacation days, lots of budget and staffing cuts under Nexstar

    Pros

    Living in Upstate, SC is nice. Can't say much than that. Ask employees working there before you sign on.

    Cons

    Station follow a "On Your Side" brand and will not go outside the scope of that. Management is poor and has hired many unexperienced people.

    I have been working at WSPA 7 full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    Vacation policy is nice. Health benefits are okay.

    Cons

    Managers who have no business being in management. Embarrassing reputation in the community. Quickly dropping from strong second-place to nearly fourth in the market. Run by consultants. More than one-third of the news staff is straight out of college or it's their first time in the industry.
