    Inspiring.

    Pros

Helping yourself by helping others. There's a terrific feeling of community contribution. Management doesn't meddle too much, though, obviously, there's a korporate line to toe, but individual creativity is more important than blindly following a korporate "system".

    Cons

Very low pay. Don't work here to earn a living unless you want to go into management. Even then, you'd better have a 2 family income. In the area of the U.S. I live in, beginning management (Territory Mgrs.) salaries are 5 to 10 k less than with other companies. // As for receptionists or leader roles at meetings, If you're retired, are drawn to the work by a passion for helping others, or just need a few extra bucks to pad your income, WW's is perfect. Otherwise, don't quit your day job.

    Meeting Leader and Personal Coach

    Pros

Your energies and skills will help others. This can be very gratifying. You can enjoy your own healthy personal development while helping others. Personal Coaching allows you to work from home with a very flexible schedule.

    Cons

Receiving compensation for work performed during a meeting is easy (that timesheet process is easy).... however submitting time for compensation outside of a meeting (Personal Coaching, meeting prep, banking, member communication, ordering products for At Work meetings, etc) can be tedious. At Work meetings require a lot of time and energy, and you will need to store products at your home.

    Pros

Flexible schedule, wonderful clients, keeps employees at their personal weight loss goals. Ability to meet all kinds of people. Generous employee discounts.

    Cons

Technology is very antiquated and attempts to upgrade are poorly handled. Many parts of the job don't use technology at all, it is pen and paper. Low pay, management doesn't listen to employees enough and sometimes makes decisions that are good for corporate but not good for clients and employees.

    Leader

    Pros

Being able to pretty much make your own schedule was nice. You meet great people that you can relate to & help guide them through their weight loss journey. Knowing that you've helped make a difference in others lives is very rewarding. They recruit from lifetime members at goal so all staff have gone through the program. As a leader I made really good money...but that depends on how big the meetings are & how many you work.

    Cons

Many of us felt that the company only cared about getting people to join & sell, sell, sell overpriced products, many of which were pretty worthless. When they had a good product they'd change it, & replace it with something not as useful. WW didn't seem to care about their employees. They forget that we were all lifetime members first & still struggling with old behaviors. Depending upon your schedule & how many meetings you worked in a day, you could go without eating or shoveling food in while driving to the next meeting. Not good!! I know it's a business looking to make big profits but they need to realize that employees are their most important asset! We were proof that the program worked! We were & will always be on a weight journey so employees need to recognized & listened to! Receptionists don't get paid product commission over & above the meeting revenue, it's calculated in a way that they often make only minimum wage where as a leaders is always over & above the meeting pay.
