I have been working at Waffle House full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

WH have continuous training. Corporate is constantly updating their C& T book in the back. Opportunity is always available; both hourly and salary.

    Cons

The only real con is having to sometimes deal with someone unpleasant; coworker or guest.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees. They are people too!

I have been working at Waffle House full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There's always room to grow in the company, flexible hours, overtime. Managers are pretty cool.

    Cons

Some workers will try to push you because of "sonority". Dont let it, stand your ground.

I have been working at Waffle House part-time

    Pros

You can make good tips, 24 hours means easy to get hours, and simplistic menu is easy to memorize. If you have a good unit manager, I would highly recommend working at waffle house

    Cons

On second and third shift, it can be difficult to balance your side work with customer service. Servers here have way more responsibilities than compared to other serving jobs.

I have been working at Waffle House full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Overall solid management team. You have almost total control over your unit. Pay is very good compared to most restaurants.

    Cons

The health insurance isn't just poor - it's misleading. What it says it gives and what it actually gives are two different things.

The hours are bad and lead to a poor home life. Be in at 6:30, get out by usually 3:00ish (4:00 or later if you are new or bad at your job). Go back at 8:30 until 9:30 or 10:00 on weekends. Even on weekdays, you have to report numbers upline at 9pm, so you're still attached to work around that time. Have a bad unit? Work doubles or longer hours. WH is 24/7 and 365, so you'll get phone calls. In other words: the hours are long and even when you get off work, you're still reporting into work a few hours later.

The top management will lie to you.

I have been working at Waffle House full-time

    Pros

I love working for waffle House. Yes you get paid $2.90 an HR but at the same time it equals out to more then minimum wage. People just don't have good social skills. Be in the mind frame if it was you as a customer and how you want to be treated. I get tipped $15 dollar tips and sometimes a $1 but that's very rare with a $1. And there is plenty of room to grow with the company if u have the right mind frame, stock, insurance etc...... A vacation check 2x a year plus Christmas bonus. What more can one ask for?

    Cons

I guess since I don't have any cons about them it's making put something. Team waffle house

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work west and cc
