I worked at Waffle House full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The work environment is fun and you have the opportunity to meet new people everyday. The pay was decent.

    Cons

For the amount of work that is required, the job isn't worth it. You're always on call and the employee retention is a joke. You never know if you'll have enough people to work. The employees call in whenever they want and are never disciplined for it. It's obvious that certain employees, even managers are stealing but nothing is done about it. There's no home and work balance. You'll see your employees more than your own family.

    Advice to Management

Stand for what's right instead of just trying to reach a bonus. Take care of your people and discipline those who are in the wrong not matter their position.

I worked at Waffle House full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Cash every time you work. They have good benefits at a reasonable price. You can get pretty much as many hours as you can handle or want. The company gives everyone child in you family a gift at Christmas. You can buy stocks in the company and payed vacation after your first year.

    Cons

Management has no idea how to run a business. You are always being called in because there is no such thing as loyal employs. Nobody cares about helping they all try and see what they can get away with or without doing. You don't make very much money.

    Advice to Management

They need to be more vigilant and not so fast to dismiss the concerns of their workers. Learn how to make schedules and have equality for all employees.
