    I worked at Waitrose part-time

    Pros

good community feel, good training, some good managers although can be hit and miss, flexible hours during exams

    Cons

some managers were difficult to get along with, HR were useless and payments often did not include overtime.

    Advice to Management

keep developing your training strategy and encourage people to be involved in the partnership

    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Waitrose part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Partnership, everyone is an owner in the business. Partner discount - 15% Waitrose, 12-25% in John Lewis, plus a very wide range of national and local discounts and subsidies.

    Cons

Frequent managerial turnover and (understandable) sickness from stress contributes to a environment of somewhat uncertainty, especially with regard to progress and personal development. This also impacts day to day operation negatively.

    I worked at Waitrose part-time

    Pros

Good working environment and good management structure in place. Flexible working hours with a good bonus system in place as well as pay scheme.

    Cons

Sometimes progression can be limited within sections and it can be quite a repetitive job and can become very dull easily.

    Advice to Management

Maybe make working hours a bit more flexible and train people on many different sections to make work more interesting and engaging.
