I have been working at Walden University full-time

    Pros

Fair and competitive pay, ability to work remotely (depending on department), ever growing, room for advancement

    Cons

Lots of office politics (that don't always create the best work environments. Competitive company where the student and/or employee is not always considered.

    Advice to Management

If you keep your employees and students/clients as priority instead of your financial bottom line, you'd be more successful.

  2. "Great to help students and receive their appreciation, depressing to know how hard we are worked."

    Pros

Very rewarding to hear a student achieve milestones in his or her studies, life, or goals.

    Cons

It is an online university, but we can't work from home even a day or two per month?

    Advice to Management

Ask what would help us support Walden more (working from home, flex schedules, etc) and follow through on the ideas.
