I worked at Waldorf Astoria (Less than a year)

    Pros

The benefits are numerous for a full-time employee. My experience within my department was phenomenal, and given enough hard work and good attitude over time, I'd say promotion is guaranteed within 12~14 months.

    Cons

More conservative working environment given the nature of the brand. The pay is competitive and the interview process was slightly long. However, great efforts should be given for a good job

    Advice to Management

Only wish is higher pay, but that's on everyone's mind.

    Pros

The managers really care about their employees. The best part about this job is that you work from 6 pm to about 10:30 pm. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The pay for the amount of hours you put in is great too.

    Cons

No cons. The job is an easy entry level position and the company is fantastic.

    Pros

Due to the volume of business in the hotel, an amazing learning experience is presented, in such a short time you learn so much about your chosen field. The entire staff is full of friendly people, and you can tell the company truly cares about its employees.

    Cons

A historic building and hotel leads to some historic computers and software systems. Maybe just an update on some things would be nice.

    Advice to Management

No advice to management, absolutely wonderful place to work.
