I have been working at Walgreens full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Hourly and commission based pay is a plus, opportunities to receive free product during sales promotions. The uniform allows you to stand out from other employees.

    Cons

Position will no longer be available after summer of 2018. Extremely pushy and competitive sales goals are a major downfall because each store competes with each other and hours are cut based on how often sales goals are met.

    Advice to Management

    More incentive

I have been working at Walgreens full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Benefits are decent but Walgreens works daily to figure out how to eliminate them for full time employees and employees who've been with them a long time.

    Cons

Schedule sucks. Walgreens does away with your position (like very recently with Senior Beauty Advisors) without any warning.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees with respect instead of like peons.

I worked at Walgreens full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Interacting with customers and you get to learn a lot of different jobs outside of your department.

    Cons

There's just enough people to cover the shift, so expect to run around everywhere if there's a lot going on.
