I have been working at Walker Zanger full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I have been working for Walker Zanger for a couple of years now in the Dallas area and couldn't be happier with my decision to work here. Management cares for us and I feel like I am part of a team. They have invested in me and my growth in the company. My sales are increasing since I began and I'm excited to see what my future holds with Walker Zanger.

    Cons

Sales associates sometimes have to work at two locations to assist clients because there are two Dallas showrooms.

    Advice to Management

Need better communication from the top down.

I worked at Walker Zanger full-time

    Pros

Many of my coworkers were great

    Cons

Sales are down, the company is too top heavy, morale is going down.

    Advice to Management

Increase morale. Your base employees are doing it with no pay increase while more directors and VPs are promoted. Get too top heavy and you will topple.

I worked at Walker Zanger full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Some of the people you work with.
    Quality of product.

    Cons

All C level and VPs are a joke. Fire from the top and stop running the company by fear and micro managing. Some of the best employees were let go because they refused to be a brown noser.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of management. Starting with PP.

I worked at Walker Zanger full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great products, beautiful showroom, fair pay, corporate employees very helpful, customers savvy

    Cons

Micro-managed, two factions treated completely differently...the newbies and the oldies, high pressure sales.

    Advice to Management

The next generation is not familiar with the Walker Zanger name. Need to increase advertising to drive in a new generation of customers.

I have been working at Walker Zanger full-time

    Pros

Love Walker Zanger products. Company with a rich history and a great reputation.

    Cons

All managers are horrible!! Should be cleaned out of company and give company a chance to recover. Backstabbing, dishonesty, revolving door. We live in fear of our jobs.

    Advice to Management

Clean out current managers and start over. Teach your managers how to inspire the employees. Treat them with respect. The managers bully the employees. John Zanger it ain’t pretty. You have some work to do.

    Pros

Nice family owned company, care about employees and treat them well. There are a lot of long term employees, nice group of people.

    Cons

    Can't really think of anything.

  10. "A little TOO niche"

    StarStarStarStarStar

    Pros

Quality product, majority of customers and co workers were pleasant enough.

    Cons

Pay is low, benefits lackluster at best. Some long term employees tend to be a little too company loyal so when a problem arises their knee jerk reaction is to blame the customer even when it was a production or quality control matter on our end.
