RecommendsPositive OutlookNo opinion of CEOI worked at Wallapop full-time for more than a year
Pros
If you like backend with big scale, this company is a good choice. I learnt a lot of about developing and operating in the cloud. The company life is vivid, there are trainings, the atmosphere is good.
Cons
Information sharing inside the company is adhoc, sometimes without clear technical vision. I missed the meetups and the company presence in conferences.
Advice to Management
Build consistent information sharing policy inside and outside.

RecommendsPositive OutlookApproves of CEOI worked at Wallapop full-time for more than 3 years
Pros
I've been working on Wallapop for more than 3 years learning a lot and with a really competitive product and team. Great environment to work and helpful workmates across all departments. Highly specialized teams working focus to get the mutual objectives. Nice open space office with fruit and great catchup beers and also a lot of extra activities for example, yoga, workshops, meetups or futbol/padel... tournaments.

Pros
Working as an intern at Wallapop I felt rightly valued and also highly stimulated. The tasks I performed were not repetitive and there were always new challenges arising. The openness in the office allowed me to discover different departments, get to know my collleagues quickly and really get to know the values of the enterprise.
Cons
Time flexibility can be a negative aspect sometimes.
Advice to Management
Keep everything as it is.

RecommendsPositive OutlookApproves of CEOI worked at Wallapop full-time
Pros
In general it has a nice atmosphere, super good work-life balance, very nice training budget, off-sites and other activities during the year that give you the opportunity to bind with colleagues that you never had the chance to speak with. As a startup it also offers the opportunity to see how a company grows and to learn from mistakes and successes.
Cons
Sometimes it felt like there was some lack of transparency and communication.
Advice to Management
More feedback to the employees would be welcomed, it gives more motivation to go to work and to give the best of you. Define your values and implement them. HR department should have more importance in the company, there are day-by-day issues that could be solved this way.

RecommendsPositive OutlookApproves of CEOI worked at Wallapop full-time for more than a year
Pros
Experiencing the unique journey from early-day startup to almost-unicorn with all ups and downs, whilst learning about entering and competing in the US market. Couldn't have found a better place to learn, apply and test the latest digital marketing approaches. Worked with well experienced young professionals I could learn from every day.
Cons
Same as in most startups: growing pains in the beginning, followed by a hyper growth too fast to cope with, too inconsistent strategy changes, but that's what you in for when you join any startup.
Advice to Management
Try to create a more diverse company culture (more nationalities, cultures, ages, languages).
